Construction
The first direct commitment with the Film Industry
goes back to the sixties with the production of THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD.
Later involvements, apart from the various commercial features, were the
production of RAISE THE TITANIC, ORCA, NORTH SEA HIJACK, CLASH OF THE TITANS,
FORCE 10 FROM NAVORRONE, COUNT OF MONTE CHRISTO and lately TROY.
The two life size Galleons commissioned for the TROY production were built
on the floating dock. The vessels were built in steel and covered with treated
timber making them reflect the time of the epic.
All the marine related equipment and sea crafts for the above productions
were entrusted to Cassar Ship Repair. |
